Lindsay has combined her schooling in traditional massage therapy with training in RAPID NFR and Fascia Stretch Therapy to provide a unique approach to manual therapy. This treatment is focused releasing tension in the muscles, and joints by focusing on the central nervous system. Traditional massage is great for calming down the nervous system to promote relaxation throughout the body/ Lindsay Treatment challenges the nervous system by focusing on the deepest layers of fascia and targeting the mechanical receptors with deep pressure and movement. These techniques are great at disarming the nervous system response to effectively turn down the pain response and unlock and free up the clients mobility.
Clients should be prepared for a treatment that is unique and targeted to each clients needs and goals.

Fascia Stretch Therapy with RAPID NFR

Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST) is a manual therapy that involves stretching the body's connective tissue, or fascia, to reduce pain and improve clients mobility. FST targets the entire myofascial system with the goal to help neural mechanics to improve movement patterns, posture and circulation. Lindsay uses a massage table and some stabiliy straps to traction the joints, creating space in the deepest layers of tissues, unravelling restriction sin the fascia from the inside out. Despite this technique working deep, it relatively pain - free, even on clients more cranky or painful joints. The FST system works with 'finesse not force' , passively moving the body to romance the nervous system and relax its hold on the tissues of the body. Lindsay will often incorporate deeper hands on techniques like RAPID NFR when dealing with chronic issues or pain limited movement.
Unlike massage, this treatment is performed with the client clothed. Clients should arrive at their appointment wearing comfortable clothing they can move in ( shorts, leggings, sweats and/or a tshirt).

With over a decade of experience in massage therapy and a strong foundation in kinesiology, I bring a unique and results-driven approach to helping clients achieve relief and mobility. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2012, where I competed as a varsity wrestler, I developed a deep understanding of biomechanics and athletic performance. In 2015 I earned a 2200 -hour diploma in Massage Therapy, further honing my skills in addressing the body’s complex needs.

Throughout my career I’ve worked with a diverse range of clients, from rehabilitation- focused individuals in physiotherapy clinics to high performance athletes in strength gym setting. To deepen my expertise, I’ve pursued advanced training in Fascial Stretch Therapy and Rapid Neurofascial Reset, leading to a specialized approach that targets fascia and the nervous system connection. At the Fascia Remedy, I integrate these experiences to offer a manual therapy approach designed to alleviate pain, reduce tension and improve mobility by addressing the nervous systems’s role in healing and movement. My goal is to empower every client to move more freely and live more comfortably.
